We are required by RICS regulation to keep most files for 12 years, and in exceptionally rare cases up to 15 years. Files will be securely shredded in annual batches once no longer required to meet regulation requirements. Physical files are kept in a locked place once archived. Electronic files are backed up to external hard drives and kept in a locked place. Data is not yet stored in the ‘cloud’ but may be in future.

It is our policy to hold very little of our customers’ data, limited to basic contact information. We do not take bank details or other financial information from customers.

We do not pass details of customers to any third parties without express instruction from them to do so.

We will not use customers’ data for our marketing purposes once the job is finished and the file is closed.
